Sliced Tomato with Salt & Pepper Ingredients 1–2 ripe tomatoes (heirloom or vine-ripened are best) Flaky sea salt (or kosher salt)

 

Instructions
Slice tomatoes into thick or thin rounds, however you prefer.

Arrange on a plate.

Sprinkle evenly with salt and freshly ground black pepper.

Serve immediately.

Optional additions: a drizzle of olive oil, fresh basil, or a splash of vinegar — but classic salt and pepper is all you need.
