Pull-Apart Garlic Bread

Ingredients

Main Ingredients
1 large round loaf of sourdough or Italian bread
½ cup unsalted butter, melted
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1 teaspoon dried oregano
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
Cheese (Optional but Recommended)
1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ cup cheddar cheese (optional)

Optional Add-Ins

Cooked bacon bits
Jalapeños
Chopped green onions
Chili flakes
Cream cheese (for extra richness)
Garnish
Fresh parsley
Extra melted butter
Parmesan sprinkle

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Bread
Preheat oven to:

375°F (190°C)
Using a sharp knife, cut the bread in a crisscross pattern:

Do not cut all the way through
Leave the bottom intact
Step 2: Make Garlic Butter
In a bowl combine:

Melted butter
Minced garlic
Garlic powder
Parsley
Oregano
Salt
Black pepper
Mix well.

Step 3: Fill the Bread
Carefully open the cuts in the bread.

Brush or drizzle garlic butter deep into all cracks.

Stuff cheese between slices if using.

Step 4: Wrap and Bake
Wrap bread in foil and place on baking tray.

Bake for:

15 minutes covered
Then open foil and bake for:

10–15 minutes uncovered
until golden and crispy.

Step 5: Finish and Serve
Remove from oven.

Brush with extra garlic butter.

Sprinkle Parmesan and parsley.

Serve warm and pull apart pieces.

Cooking Methods
Classic Oven Method
Best for crispy edges and soft cheesy interior.

Air Fryer Method
Cook smaller bread loaves at:

350°F (175°C) for 8–12 minutes
Stuffed Cheese Method
Add extra cheese inside each cut for gooey texture.

Skillet Garlic Bread Method

Cook in cast iron skillet for rustic presentation.
